Blueberry Silk Scarf Design

This silk scarf design is entirely hand drawn and painted with gouache. It was so interesting learning to create half drop repeat patterns traditionally with tracing paper. Painting in all of the line work was a time-consuming process, but I love the unique imperfections hand-painting creates.

The design was inspired by my springs growing up in Tennessee and the color that blooms as the land comes back to life.
